Map to South Lake Tent & Trailer Park
Getting there is half the fun!
The first thing you need to do is get yourself to the Minden Area. If you need directions to Minden, scroll down below the map on this page.
Once there, it's easy to find South Lake Tent & Trailer Park (GPS Co-ordinates N44 54.343 W78 41.578).
If your coming from south of Minden along Hwy 35 you have two options.
OPTION 1
- From Hwy 35 turn right on Snowdon Road.
- Turn left on Rice Road
- Turn right on Hospitality Road.
- Continue along Hospitality Road until you see the sign for South Lake Tent & Trailer Park.
- Turn right at the park's driveway and continue until you reach the office.
- Check in at the office and then ask for directions to our camping area.
OPTION 2
- From Hwy 35 turn right on South Lake Road.
- Turn right on Hospitality Road.
- Continue along Hospitality Road until you see the sign for South Lake Tent & Trailer Park.
- Turn left at the park's driveway and continue until you reach the office.
- Check in at the office and then ask for directions to our camping area.
If you are coming from north of Minden along Hwy 35.
- From Hwy 35 turn left on South Lake Road.
- Turn right on Hospitality Road.
- Continue along Hospitality Road until you see the sign for South Lake Tent & Trailer Park.
- Turn left at the park's driveway and continue until you reach the office.
- Check in at the office and then ask for directions to our camping area.

From the GTA and West including Windsor, London, Kitchener/Waterloo, Hamilton, Oakville (along Hwys 401, 403, 407, 410 or 427)
- From Windsor, London, Kitchener/Waterloo, Guelph go east along Hwy 401 to Hwy 400
- From Brantford, Hamilton, Oakville go east along Hwy 403 to Hwy 401 and continue east to Hwy 400.
- Go north on Hwy 400 to Orillia (make sure to keep left north of Barrie to continue along Hwy 11 North.)
- Exit at Memorial Avenue East.
- Continue along Memorial Avenue to Hwy 12 South.
- Turn right at Hwy 12 South.
- Continue south along Hwy 12 to Rama Road (County Road 44.)
- Turn left at Rama Road.
- Continue north along Rama Road to Monck Road (County Road 45.)
- Turn right at Monck Road.
- Continue east along Monck Road to Norland (Hwy 35.)
- Turn left at Hwy 35.
- Continue north along Hwy 35 to Minden.
From East of the GTA including Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa, Kingston, Belleville (along Hwy 401)
- From Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa go east along Hwy 401 to Hwy 115/35.
- From Brockville, Kingston, Belleville, Cobourg go west along Hwy 401 to Hwy 115/35.
- Exit at Hwy 115/35 North.
- Take the ramp from 115/35 to Hwy 35 north.
- Continue north along Hwy 35 to Minden.
From North of the GTA including Aurora, Newmarket, Stouffville (along Hwy 48)
- From Aurora, Newmarket make your way east to Hwy 48.
- From Stouffville take Hwy 48 north.
- Continue north on Hwy 48 to Hwy 35.
- Turn left at Hwy 35.
- Continue north on Hwy 35 to Minden.
From the East including Ottawa, Petawawa (along Hwy 417/17)
- From Ottawa go west along Hwy 417 and merge on to Hwy 17 to Obrien Road (Hwy 60.)
- From Petawawa go east along Hwy 17 to Obrien Road (Hwy 60.)
- Exit at Obrien Road (Hwy 60.)
- Continue along Obrien Road (Hwy 60) to Hwy 132.
- Turn left at Hwy 132.
- Continue west along Hwy 132 to Hwy 41.
- Turn left at Hwy 41.
- Continue west along Hwy 41 to Denbigh (Hwy 28.)
- Turn right at Hwy 28.
- Continue west along Hwy 28 to Hwy 118.
- Turn right at Hwy 118.
- Continue west along Hwy 118 to Haliburton (Hwy 121.)
- Turn left at Hwy 121.
- Continue west to Hwy 35.
- Turn left at Hwy 35.
- Continue south along Hwy 35 to Minden.
From Central Ontario including Penetanguishene, Midland, Owen Sound, Collingwood (along Hwys 12 or 26)
- From Penetanguishene, Midland go east along Hwy 12.
- From Owen Sound, Collingwood go east along Hwy 26 to Hwy 12.
- Continue east along Hwy 12 through Orillia to Rama Road (County Road 44.)
- Turn left at Rama Road.
- Continue north along Rama Road to Monck Road (County Road 45.)
- Turn right at Monck Road.
- Continue east along Monck Road to Norland (Hwy 35.)
- Turn left at Hwy 35.
- Continue north along Hwy 35 to Minden.
From the Northeast including Mattawa, North Bay, Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst (along Hwy 11)
- From Mattawa, North Bay, Huntsville, Bracebridge go south on Hwy 11 to Hwy 118.
- From Gravenhurst go north on Hwy 11 to Hwy 118.
- Exit at Hwy 118 East.
- Continue east along Hwy 118 to Hwy 35.
- Turn right at Hwy 35.
- Continue south along Hwy 35 to Minden.
From the Northwest including Sudbury, Parry Sound (along Hwy 400/69)
- From Sudbury, Parry Sound go south along Hwy 400/69 to Hwy 141.
- Exit at Hwy 141 East.
- Continue east along Hwy 141 to Hwy 11.
- Take the ramp to Hwy 11 South.
- Continue south along Hwy 11 to Hwy 118.
- Exit at Hwy 118 East.
- Continue east along Hwy 118 to Hwy 35.
- Turn right at Hwy 35.
- Continue south along Hwy 35 to Minden.
