CNTC Membership
As a member of the Canadian Nissan Truck Club (CNTC), you are ensuring the ongoing health of this organization both monetarily, with your membership donations, but also in goodwill by participating in the discussion forums and other social aspects of the club.
Members and their families are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the club including but not limited to coffee meets held at various locations around south-east and south-central Ontario, the main base of the club; dinner meets, particularly during the Winter months when it's too cold for outdoor coffee meets and the trails are full of snow; organized off-road trail runs and camping weekends, whenever and as often as possible; and the all important Adventure Weekend, the premier event of the year held in Minden, Ontario, Canada.
This club is nothing without the participation of its members. With that in mind all of these activities are FREE, exclusive of any costs you personally incur to participate, and we encourage everyone to join-in. You will find the members of CNTC to be amongst the friendliest people you will ever meet. You'll see it reflected in the friendly banter that goes on in the 'Off Topic' forums; you'll see it in the pictures and videos we post from our club events; you'll see it in the friendly and helpful manner members use in the 'Garage' section of the forums and when members actually come out and lend a hand with that repair or mod you want to perform on your truck.
We apologize in advance to your families for taking you away from them. Yes, one of the downfalls of membership is that once you get to know us, you can't get enough of us, so we apologize for that! The good thing is that many aspects of the club are family oriented; coffee meets, dinners, trail runs, camping and the Adventure Weekend are all designed for you to include your family members. So if your wife, your husband, your kids, your boyfriend or girlfriend is telling you you're spending too much time with your new friends, remind them that they are welcome to participate too! CNTC Membership Is Arranged In A Tiered Format
Guests, unregistered visitors to this site and its discussion forums, have limited access to read some publicly accessible forums. Many forums are hidden and you do not have any ability to participate in any of the discussion forums.
Registered Members have greater access to view a larger number of forums and participate in some of the discussions. As well, you'll be able to read and post in some of the Garage forums. Although some forum titles will be viewable, the content will be locked from view and you will not be able to benefit from that content. Such forums include but are not limited to the 'How To's/General Info' forums and the 'Owner's Rigs' Forums. You will also be restricted in the amount of customization you have in your account settings.
Registered Members who make annual contributions to the club attain PREMIUM MEMBER status and have complete access to read all the discussion forums and participate in all the discussions including full posting privileges in the Garage forums, access to the Owner's Rigs pages and the ability to post in our Buy & Sell forum.
PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP Has Its Privileges
As a PREMIUM MEMBER of the club, you'll enjoy the full benefits of PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP. In addition to full access to the discussion forums and all the benefits that entails, PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP also includes:
- Club sticker 2 and membership card 3
- Full account customization including custom avatar and custom signature with images (avatars and signature images are limited in size and must be linked from your own source)
- Access to How To's. Gain from the knowledge of other members who have already performed the mod or installed the accessory you are contemplating.
- Full access to post questions in the entire Garage section to get help with maintenance, repairs and modifications
- Full access to the Owner's Rigs forum including posting your own Owner's Rig page. View images of member's trucks, descriptions of their modifications and lists of accessories and gear they carry on board. Ask Owners direct questions about their trucks, post your comments and feedback.
- Posting privileges to the Buy and Sell forum. Who better to sell your surplus or unwanted, gently used items than to the members of CNTC. Hey, we're all open to a good bargain now and then. Also, what better place to ask for help in locating that hard to find item or to ask for an opinion on an item before you put down your hard earned cash
- Discount membership in the Ontario Federation of 4WD Recreationists (OF4WD) 4 including but not limited to:
- Access to the OF4WD forums
- Ability to participate in CampNL, one of Canada's premier off-road events. It's almost as good as our own Adventure Weekend
- Discounts and special deals from participating dealers and retailers
- Event liability insurance
- Support the ever-growing voice of 4WD enthusiasts in Ontario

Know How Your Donations Are Spent
As a PREMIUM MEMBER of the club, you'll have access to a full accounting of how your donation money is spent and a voice in how excess funds are used. With that in mind be aware that some expenses are constant and must be paid on a on going basis. Those include but are not limited to:
- Yearly web hosting and domain & DNS fees
- Yearly OF4WD club registration fee (currently $100 per year)
- Deposits and initial monetary outlay required to acquire club swag
- Deposits and initial monetary outlay required to acquire prizes/awards for, and to organize/secure CNTC, events such as the Adventure Weekend
To retain PREMIUM MEMBER status, we ask for a minimum annual donation of $20 per year. This donation level covers your PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP status from January 1st to December 31st. A grace period of 2 months at the beginning of each year will be allowed before your donation is due. A reduction of membership status to Registered Member only will result if you no longer wish to contribute donations.

Disclaimers
1 Contact the forum Admin to have your significant other's status raised to PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP (does not extend to discounts and prize offers).
2 PREMIUM MEMBERS who contribute the $20 annual donation, will receive a club sticker. Additional stickers can be purchased, please check the forums.
3 PREMIUM MEMBERS who contribute continuous annual donations receive a 'Member Since' designation on their membership card.
4 OF4WD membership through CNTC: Paid CNTC membership and OF4WD membership must be received by February 28, 2009.
